The bathroom is one of my most favorite rooms in the house to design and renovate. It is a room that is used frequently and yet can be a very personal and relaxing room to spend time on. In the design process, one of the areas that most people overlook is the bathroom vanities. These can literally make or break a bathroom and can dramatically transform a dull looking room into something that looks quite stunning.
You don't have to spend a lot of money in the process of changing the bathroom vanity cabinets. The cheapest way is to buy off the shelf units that come flat packed and ready to assemble. It's just a case of driving down to your local home improvement store, putting them in the back of the car and going home. They are designed to be assembled with the minimum of skills or tools.
At the other end of the spectrum is the custom made units. These are a lot more expensive but you will be getting vanity units of a very high quality that will last for years to come. Either way new bathroom vanities will give you a new bathroom at the fraction of the cost of a complete bathroom renovation.
